Google Gravity

Google Fun gravity trick

Quite simply, this is Earth-bound physics “infused” into Google’s interface: with “gravity,”the visual elements you commonly find on the interface, such as the search bar, the “I’m feeing lucky” button, and everything else fall down like a stack of bricks on the bottom of the browser. You can even “pick up” and “throw” the search results at the “walls” or just simply mess with them. This is no longer implemented on Google, but you can still see how it worked through the link below.

  3. How did I not know about Google gravity by now? I love this kind of stuff by them and always like when there’s a national holiday or something that allows them to create something new like a drawing or a little game that is playable. I love their creativity and sense of humor. Google Mirror seems super fun – just tried it and it was fun to try to read the things on the screen; it gets those brain wheels working hard.

  4. it works for me in both Firefox and Safari, of course, that depends on what you mean by "it works." I couldn't use it as a search engine, so I don't know how someone got here from there, but it did live up to its name.

  5. This is so awesome! I never knew this could be done. Googlism sounds like great fun as well. I’ll have to try this out the next time I have friends over. Something else to distract me when I’m working online – jokes! We all need a distraction once in a while.

Hahahaha…. I already know how I’m going to use Google gravity to bring some laughs into my day. The co-worker in the office next to mine is going to come back from one of his many bathroom breaks only to find his computer displaying a very unusual Google homepage! I can’t wait to hear him yell out, “What the hell?!?!” Thank you so much for posting this!
